Bucky the Robot Model

I, Mike Hungerford, hold the sole copyright to each of my model designs and any images thereof on this site, but hereby grant permission for their free use for any legitimate non-profit purpose, so long as the copyright and attribution included in each model's file(s) remains intact and unmodified.

If you wish to make any of my models available from your own Web site, please do so by linking to my models page rather than by hosting copies of the models' files. This ensures that visitors will always find the most current version of any given model.

I would appreciate receiving copies of any modifications made to my designs, simply for my own enjoyment.

Please let me know if you find a problem while building this model, or if you enjoyed building it as much as I enjoyed designing it. A photo of your build would also be welcome. You can send me e-mail here:

This model represents "Bucky the Robot" from Tim Rickard's comic strip, "Brewster Rockit." The model was comissioned by members of the LosCon staff and is based upon their tall, wooden "mascot" model of Bucky.

The assembled model is about 13 inches tall, which equates roughly to 1:6 scale vs. the "mascot."

Also available, but not shown, is a "conversion kit" to turn Bucky into Mrs. Bucky.

The Bucky character is used here with the generous permission of Tim Rickard and Tribune Media Services. Brewster Rockit TM and (C) 2010 Tim Rickard, Syndicated by Tribune Media Services, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
